Which Laser Device better 5g or 8g ?

hello i am Looking for some advice ,
which laser device would be best for me ? 5g or 8g (other factors including surgeon experience, skill etc all being equal, which I understand are very important)

I was thinking a surface treatment

i think 8g is the newest technology therefore it is better
